Steve is a 13 year veteran and former Vice-President of eMarketplace Outsourcing Services for Sterling Commerce, a division of IBM. More recently Steve was named Microsoft Partner of the Year for Dynamics Retail and awarded Microsoft Retail Independent Software Vendor (ISV) of the year for his companys data sync solutions. Steve has more than 20 total years software industry experience building and leading teams in various roles including sales, marketing, product development, infrastructure hosting, call center operations and customer service.
Jeff is a 20 year veteran of the retail, financial services and insurance industry. He developed and led Finance Administration for an Ohio-based insurance market aggregator with more than 59 equity owners and more than 400 Ohio-based agencies. Jeff partnered with Steve in 2008 after selling his shares in a successful agency in Central Ohio to further lead the development of the companys financial software synchronization practice.
Peter Korda is the Senior Vice President of Operations for FacilitySource, a Warburg Pincus-backed company providing facilities maintenance services and information systems to over 100 large retailers in North America.
In prior roles, Peter was President of Scotts LawnService, a VP running several businesses for Sears Home Services, SVP of operations and commercial sales for Intagio, and head of business development for BankOne.com. He also spent several years as a marketing and business development executive at Sterling Commerce, now a division of IBM.
Peter began his career at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) serving retail and financial services clients on strategy, change management, and large systems projects. His academic background includes an undergraduate degree from Williams College and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Bob Wiggins, a recent transplant to Columbus, Ohio, is Senior Vice President, Venture Acceleration, at Rev1 Ventures of Columbus and is also the manager of Mount Hood Equity Partners, LP, a venture fund headquartered in Lake Oswego, Oregon.
Bob is an entrepreneur, lawyer and investor in early-stage companies. He served as a member of the management team (and ultimately as President) of BLT Technologies, Inc., an angel-financed company that was a pioneer in prepaid communications and was successfully sold in 1996 to WorldCom for $85 million. He was Chairman and CEO of Legal Anywhere, Inc., leading the company’s efforts in two rounds of angel financing and the company’s successful sale in 2000 to NIKU for $27 million. Bob also served as Chairman and CEO of Site9, whose flagship product is ProtoShare.
Bob has been an active investor in a number of Pacific Northwest start-ups, including Learning.com, Routeware, SnapNames.com, Decision Dynamics, Marketsync, Remote Technologies, and DealPlanner, and has served on the Board of Directors or Advisory Board of other companies, including Veris Industries, Kentrox, Cerus Industrial, Senva and nChannel.
In his legal career, Bob was a partner with Stoel Rives, serving as Co-chair of the firm’s Technology Ventures Group, and with Lane Powell. As a lawyer, Bob advised many early-stage companies in the Pacific Northwest, developing strong relationships with entrepreneurs, management team members, investors and service providers. Bob also had an active m & a practice.
Bob is a graduate of the University of Oregon, with a B.S. in economics. He also holds a J.D. from the University of Oregon School of Law, graduating first in his class in 1982.
Mike Bechtold is the Managing Director of Grouse Ridge Capital, LLC, a single family office serving as a Private Equity, Venture Capital and Advisory Services Firm. Mike is responsible for oversight of the investment portfolio including early stage tech start-up entities, AI / Robotics entities, manufacturing entities and servicing capital and restructuring advisory engagements.
In addition, Mike is Executive Vice President of Brayman Construction Corporation, an ENR 400 heavy/civil, specialty geotechnical contractor, President of Airquest Aviation, a multi-location FBO (Fixed Base Operator) providing aircraft management, charter, maintenance and flight training services, and Executive Vice President of Advanced Construction Robotics, a world-leader in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics development for the construction industry.
Mike began his career at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, serving public and private entities in the metals industry (steel & aluminum) and the retail industry. Mike received his B.S. in Accounting from the Pennsylvania State University in 1991.
