COLUMBUS, Ohio – nChannel, a Columbus, Ohio-based cloud-based operations management platform provider for multichannel sellers, has been recognized as 2014 Venture of the Year Award Finalist from the Ohio Venture Association (OVA), an organization of northeast Ohio entrepreneurs and investors who are dedicated to the interchange of ideas on entrepreneurship, new ventures, and venture capital.
nChannel was recognized during an awards presentation in June at an OVA luncheon at The Union Club in Cleveland. Established in 2007, the Venture of the Year Awards are presented to investor-backed companies that have raised capital, demonstrated rapid growth, and have exhibited positive regional and industry impact. nChannel was one of just three companies chosen for the Venture of the Year Award; Jeff Grundey, nChannel co-founder and CFO, accepted the award.
“This award is demonstrable evidence of the continuously growing and supportive culture helping to encourage entrepreneurship in the state of Ohio,” said Grundey when nChannel received the news of being a Finalist. “nChannel owes much of its success to The Ohio Third Frontier and the programs they support. Our success is testament to the success of Third Frontier support for TechColumbus, the Ohio Tech Angel Fund, and the North Coast Angel Fund. We’re proud of the more than 45 IT jobs we’ve been able to create in both central and southeastern Ohio.”
