This week we announced our new Product Information Management (PIM) solution and officially began marketing it for the holiday season. We prepared some tips for sellers to help guide them towards growth, profitability and customer loyalty. That made me wonder how other technology providers were advising these same sellers. But, the tip that jumped out to me is to consider the self-service option. Self-service is such a smart tactic that often gets overlooked. We’re so worried about being engaged with the customer that sometimes we forget that they just want to complete their shopping task and move on. Offering quick, self-help options is a great strategy (as long as you have real human being there to back it up).
