A Comparison of the 4 Top eCommerce Platforms: Magento, Shopify, Volusion, Bigcommerce
Not all eCommerce shopping carts are created equal. Many look similar on the surface, but deep down have way more to compare than just price and features. Most merchants will only ever use a fraction of the features offered, so don’t let things like unlimited bandwidth and unlimited product listings be your main criteria. And unless you need complete customization and you have IT staff to help, full-fledged open source solutions are probably not the choice either. In our experience, small and mid-size companies have the best experience with mid-priced eCommerce platforms with a solid feature set and expandable design.

Integrate Multiple Magento Stores to Simplify Brand Expansion
I do a lot of research. And because we work with so many Magento users, I pay attention to what they’re talking about. Four Essential Strategies for Increasing eCommerce Sales
Consistency, convenience, product availability and price are key drivers luring shoppers out of brick and mortar stores into the world of eCommerce. And concern trickles down as large retailers like Best Buy and JCPenney close stores. Many reasons are cited for the closings, but two reasons stand-out as lessons to be learned.
Convergence 2014 LOST SESSION: How to Leverage Dynamics to Maximize Multichannel Revenue
Let me start by saying that I am a card-carrying member of the Microsoft fan club. I own and love my Windows 8 phone, nChannel runs on Windows 8.1 with Office 360 and CRM, we develop on .NET, utilize Azure and just implemented a Lync-based phone system. I really believe Microsoft doesn’t get enough credit for how they’re leading the market in these areas, but that doesn’t change the fact that Dynamics is lagging behind in addressing multichannel for its users.
Many of our Microsoft partners have asked me if we’re going to be at Convergence this year. They’re often surprised when I tell them “no,” despite our growing Dynamics user base. The reality is that we don’t have a huge marketing budget so we need to fish where the fish are biting and a quick search of the conference guide revealed that there wasn’t a single session at Convergence 2014 regarding how to leverage Dynamics to operate a multichannel or omnichannel retail business.
